Join us at the Luna Theater at Mill No. 5 for James Lee and Adam Pfleghaar’s film, which blends dance and documentary footage to tell the true story of a Cambodian orphanage transformed by the arts.

There will be a brief introduction by Dr. Teri Tan, PhD, Missions Coordinator of the Cambodian Health Professionals Associations of America (CHPAA), and "Ambassador" of the movie "Still I Strive".

A reception will follow the screening.

"Stil I Strive" is a story of transcendence through compassion, unity and hope.

At one orphanage in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, the performing arts are the path to healing and transformation. Guided by their matriarch Peng Phan, a renowned actress in her own right, the children aspire to achieve one of the highest honors in Cambodian society, to perform in front of Princess Bopha Devi as a symbol of their culture and heritage.

The Luna Theatre at Mill No. 5 is located at 250 Jackson St. in Lowell.
