Internships & Apprenticeships

Administrative Interns

MRT occasionally seeks unpaid interns for its administrative offices.

Administrative interns will gain exposure to all areas of arts administration during their time at Merrimack Repertory Theatre. Interns will rotate through marketing, development, finance, and executive departments, working alongside senior and junior staff members.

Tasks may include: helping with preparation and execution of special events; helping with advertising and media planning strategy; researching and writing PlayGuides for the upcoming season; researching and adapting to social media and web “best practices”; archiving and digitization of historical records; strategy and execution of fundraising campaigns; manning tables at fair events to promote MRT; as well as general office tasks such as filing, sorting, organization and assisting the administrative staff with additional projects as they arise.

Administrative internships are offered during the summer, spring and fall semesters. Specific schedules and requirements will be determined on a case by case basis.

To be considered for an internship, submit a cover letter and resume to jobs@mrt.org.
